Vilner has released info on its modified Bentley Continental GT that features a new carbon fiber widebody kit and new body parts. The Bulgarian design studio installed carbon fiber front and rear spoilers, rear diffuser, along with different exhaust pipes and a gray graphite matte paint and used carbon fiber on the inner part of the headlights. The inside now features a black finish with Bordeaux accents, plus a dark red hue for the armrest, door pockets and gearshift lever, with black Alcantara with a decorative pattern was used to cover the ceiling and seats. Lamborghini has officially unveiled their new Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse.

Designed to bring “race track emotion directly to the road,” the Squadra Corse is named after Lamborghini’s motorsport department and is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo. As a result, it features carbon fiber components, a quick-release engine cover and a prominent rear wing.  The model has also been equipped gloss black accents and tri-color stripes.

The blue GT-R was driven by the movie’s main character Brian O’Connor, played by Paul Walker. Following his death, the price has been raised from 300,000 euros to a cool 1,000,000 euros

Chevrolet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced in a press release today that the ChevroletCamaro ZL1 Pace Car will lead the NASCAR Sprint Cup field to the start the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, July 28 in Indianapolis.

2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Mitsubishi is holding on to the saving grace of its lineup, the Lancer Evolution. This four-door all-terrain rocket has arrived for the 2014 model year with minor updates and some new pricing.

New amenities include a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, HD radio, SiriusXM with a 3-month subscription, and an available 7-inch touchscreen with real-time traffic updates and 3D terrain mapping. Some nice options to be sure, but most Mitsubishi fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next-generation machine.

The 2014 Evo will be offered up in one of the two familiar trims. There’s the GSR, which comes equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox and starts at suggested retail price of $35,820, including an $825 destination charge. The Evo MR boasts a paddle-shifted twin-clutch gearbox and a starting retail price of $39,020, also including destination.

Options include a $2,150 Touring pack that adds niceties such as leather trim, heated seats, a powered sunroof and rain-sensing wipers. Then there’s the $2,000 Sight & Sound, which adds HID headlights, a Rockford Fosgate Punch premium sound system and Fast Key Entry System. Premium paint will add $250 to the car’s sticker.

Both cars come powered by a 291-horsepower turbocharged four-banger that also cranks out 300 pound-feet of torque. All of that power is routed out to each corner by way of the Super All-Wheel-Control all-wheel-drive system.

For around $40,000 you’re getting a car that is a truly potent performing machine. It’s a wonderful car paired with a mediocre interior, minus the Recaro seats and, we’re assuming, the new touchscreen. The Evo is in desperate need of a refresh, and rumor has it that the next Evo could arrive in GT-R fighting trim packing 500 horsepower. We can only hope that’s the case because we probably won’t hear anything for another year.
